We're working with a well-respected company in the Moving and Relocation industry that is looking to recruit a Moving Collections & Credit Specialist based in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, supporting credit control activities and ensuring outstanding balances are collected in line with agreed payment terms.
Responsibilities for the Moving Collections & Credit Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring customer accounts and following up on outstanding invoices.
- Contacting customers to resolve overdue balances and payment queries.
- Reviewing credit applications and supporting credit limit decisions.
- Reconciling customer accounts and investigating payment discrepancies.
- Working closely with the revenue processing and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of collections activity and account status.
To succeed in this role you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a credit control or collections role within the moving and relocation industry.
- Good understanding of customer billing, invoicing and account reconciliation.
- Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and internal teams.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Experience using MoversSuite (ideal).
