Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations for, storage, and freight forwarding activities
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics.
- Ensure efficient scheduling of employees, and warehouse resources
- Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee storage solutions for client goods
- Implement and enforce health & safety regulations across warehouse operations
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with transport, export/import, and customer service teams
- Manage warehouse budgets, costs, and profitability targets
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with international shipping and customs regulations
- Oversee packing standards and quality control for all shipments
- Handle client escalations and ensure high service delivery standards
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in warehouse management within removals, relocation, or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of warehouse & freight forwarding operations
- Leadership experience managing large operational teams
- Understanding of international logistics, shipping, and customs processes
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software
