Immigration Department Manager

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity is available for a skilled Immigration Department Manager to join our global client based in Bangkok, Thailand.

We are seeking a professional, driven people leader with a proven record of accomplishment in Thai Immigration services.

Key criteria for the role include;

  • Strong knowledge of Thai in-bound Immigration services

  • A nature staff leader, mentor and coach

Key Responsibilities of the Immigration Department Manager:

  • Serving as the Immigration subject matter expert within the business at all times

  • Full management of the Immigration services department, ensuring each team member is reaching their goals

  • Visit existing corporate client accounts with the corporate services manager to introduce the firms services

  • Hold monthly review meetings with the Immigration team

  • Review and evaluate the strengths and areas for improvement within the department, and implement process improvement

  • Responsible for hiring staff, provide training and mentoring

  • Manage 3rd party vendors ensuring a high level of service is provided

  • Attend corporate sales meeting, reporting monthly to the managing director

  • Support and assist senior management with the annual budget

Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within Thai Immigration

  • Previous experience managing a department

  • Experience with immigration systems and corporate relocation services systems and expertise in immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing

  • Ability to work independently according to business needs, fulfill objectives timely with little supervision, as well as excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Excellent time management skills, work under pressure and with multiple deadlines
