Immigration Specialist, APAC
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Immigration Specialist, APAC to join a global business in Singapore, this position is based onsite 5 days per week with a corporate client.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage APAC Immigration processes and procedures alongside the immigration vendor
- Main point of contact for APAC immigration queries
- Working closely with the immigration vendor, supporting immigration projects
- Serve as the subject matter expert on immigration services as well as supporting mobility management and general HR administration
- Delivering guidance and advice to stakeholders and assignees on APAC immigration matters
- Monitor immigration vendor service as per SLAs
- Recognise potential risks with regards to immigration and recommend solutions
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and assignees
Main Requirements:
- Over 5 years APAC Immigration / Global Mobility experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of APAC visa and immigration processes and procedures
- Strong project management experience required
- Knowledgeable on the assignee management and relocations process
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Good stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work independently as well as partnering with a team
- Strong IT skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
