We are currently representing a well-established international freight forwarder seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth across international air and ocean freight services.

This is a fully remote role, open to professionals based anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead revenue growth across warehousing and global freight forwarding services, including air, ocean, road, and both import and export logistics
  • Capitalise on established client relationships to drive immediate revenue generation
  • Proactively identify and secure new business through strategic outreach and digital prospecting
  • Maintain consistent client engagement through virtual and in-person meetings
  • Take full ownership of commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and margin optimisation
  • Achieve monthly gross profit targets
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership to ensure service excellence
  • Deliver clear, data-led weekly forecasts, pipeline visibility, and activity reporting

Key Requirements: 
  • 5+ years of proven success within international air and ocean freight sales
  • An active and transferable portfolio of client relationships is preferred 
  • Strong commercial acumen, including confidence in pricing, quoting, and profitability management
  • Technically comfortable with CRM platforms and modern sales enablement tools
  • Self-directed and commercially driven, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively
