Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily branch operations within the moving and relocation sector.
- Monitoring and creating task assignment plans to ensure smooth workflow.
- Allocating personnel and resources to meet changing demands and job volumes.
- Interpreting new move projects and modifying work processes to meet deadlines.
- Supervising all operational staff including movers, drivers, and porters.
- Enforcing company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Leading recruitment efforts for drivers and porters.
- Conducting employee performance evaluations in line with company policy.
- Supporting the driver certification and compliance process.
- Assisting with training and safety programmes alongside the operations manager.
- Troubleshooting operational issues and conducting problem analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with local, federal, and DOT regulations through regular audits and warehouse inspections.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven managerial experience within the moving or transportation industry.
- Strong ability to manage workload fluctuations and operational disruptions.
- Excellent IT proficiency and clear, professional communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a relocation or moving environment.
