We're working with a commercial moving company in the moving and relocation sector that's looking to hire a Commercial Moving Sales Executive for its Newark, NJ office. The role involves developing new business opportunities, carrying out commercial moving surveys, preparing quotations and working with clients from initial enquiry through to the booking of their move.
Almost every customer has unique needs in Commercial Sales, but your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new commercial moving business across the local market.
- Carrying out on-site and virtual commercial moving surveys.
- Preparing quotations and following up on sales enquiries.
- Building relationships with new and existing commercial clients.
- Working with the operations team to coordinate booked moves.
- Maintaining customer records and sales activity using the company's CRM system.
- Representing the company at client meetings and networking opportunities.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with:
- Previous commercial moving sales experience within the moving and relocation industry.
- Experience carrying out commercial moving surveys and preparing quotations.
- A proven track record of developing new business and managing client accounts.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client appointments.
