Account Executive

Job Description

We are partnering with a leading logistics provider seeking a motivated and target driven Account Executive to join their expanding team.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, typically from new clients or accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

· Cold calling customers on a daily basis.

· Must be able to independently build a lucrative book of business.

· Increase gross profit on every shipment.

· Capable of selling and pitching yourself to potential clients.

· Making many daily face-to-face sales calls, sending emails, or calling or texting customers to solicit business and follow up on consumer inquiries.

· Have the ability to quickly negotiate and quote customers.

· Volume, revenue, and gross profit parameters for meeting management.

· Customers will be entertained during and after usual business hours.

· Identifying and cultivating new client relationships within a given geographical or market.

· Identify potential clients and develop strategies for approaching them.

· Attending weekly sales meetings with management to give them with information on your customers and prospects.

Required:

· 4 or more years in selling International NVOCC , Freight Forwarding services

· Proven experience in building an international NVOCC, Freight Forwarding customer base.

· Outstanding written and oral communication skills

· Superior business and negotiation skills. Quick to learn and willing to take on challenges that will expand the business and generating revenue.

· Extensive NVOCC, freight forwarding industry knowledge.

· Ability and willingness to travel , make face to face sales calls, price freight, etc.

· Able to work in a fast past environment , work independently , be creative in how to close business and keep management informed.
