Accounting Manager

Job Description

Our client, a top provider of local and international Moving and Relocation services, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team based in Cheyenne, WY.

Ultimately, you will provide accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the business, while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Control all accounting transactions for moving.
  • Charge for shipments and pay drivers.
  • Make moving budget projections.
  • Release timely Moving Financial Statements.
  • Take care of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Reconciliation.
  • Achieve prompt bank payments.
  • Prepare tax returns and calculate taxes.
  • Control the balance sheets and the profit and loss accounts.
  • Report on the company's liquidity and financial health.
  • Examine financial records and transactions.
  • Maintain the privacy of financial information, and when necessary, backup databases.
  • Abide by financial rules and standards.

Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance is a required.
  • Must have strong knowledge of debit/ credit bookkeeping.
  • Previous accounting experience in the Moving and Relocation industry is desirable.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
