Business Development Executive

Job Description

We are working alongside a well-established Fine Art Shipping company in Paris who are seeking for a Business Development Executive to join their expanding and dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new net sales and revenue from prospective clients. Selling solutions that entail prospecting, networking, and carrying out marketing plans in order to expand the business footprint and meet quotas.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the business revenue growth by leading the negotiation process ensuring a timely outcome from a potential solution suggestion, pricing, profitability, and liability
  • Identify, sell and close new areas of opportunity for all services and storage
  • Assessing customers' problems or opportunities, positioning and illuminating the business areas of strength, competitive pricing, client satisfaction, and competitive advantages inside net new accounts will help clients see the true value of the company's comprehensive solution offerings
  • Continuously develop new clients
  • Consistently maintain a consistent pipeline for meeting and exceeding quota attainment
  • Ensure activities support pipeline and account activity including timely detailed responses to RFP’s, tracking in SFDC, forecasting, conducting competitive research and knowledge of what the business can offer
  • Active knowledge regarding the industry associations in the market to increase the business awareness  
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of client business trends, current macro and micro economic climate and new business opportunities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background and knowledge in strategic sales and solution selling
  • Proven ability to translate client needs to meet requirements through creating value propositions and negotiation skills
  • Have exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Show strong interpersonal, planning, analytical and business skills for effective decision making
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic selling methods
  • Be self-motivated, self-directed, and organized and show great attention to detail
  • Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota targets
  • Ability to understand the market challenges and deliver value propositions that relate to the clients' needs
  • Drive new business from prospective accounts whilst meeting and/or exceeding sales and revenue goals
  • Ability to present to a senior-level management
  • Show excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • 3-5 years experience in a sales-oriented role within the Fine Art Industry is preferred
