IT Business Analyst - Conversational Banking

Our client a multinational investment bank and financial services company based in Switzerland is looking for an IT Business Analyst in Conversational Banking to join their team.

The Advanced Analytics crew can offer a highly motivated and collaborative Agile working environment. Your main focus will be on Speech – to – Text capabilities reinventing client call experience in an A1 automated call centre along with participating in all phases of the development lifecycle and who are responsible to design, document and support development of innovative applications. This is a senior role which includes significant responsibilities, developmental possibilities and the chance to drive new solutions in a pivotal area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with colleagues at all levels to meet business requirements
  • Work closely with Product Owner to ensure deliveries are aligned with overall strategy
  • Translate business requirements into features and user stories
  • Collaborate with technologists (e.g. IT leads, security, cloud experts, development teams) to drive delivery within an Agile framework
  • Work with Test Management to define test cases and support testing
  • Conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis
  • Contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve our processes
  • Support L3 to investigate production problems

Your Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements engineering  
  • Academic degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Certain knowledge & understanding of the business applications from Conversational AI e.g. chatbot or virtual agents
  • Expertise in conceptual modeling and modeling techniques like UML or BPMN
  • Good experience in working on JIRA & Confluence for project documentation & task management
  • Good understanding of user journey, UX and UI design and able to define/specify usability and accessibility aspect of a software solution
  • Proactive, able to work independently, with a mindset to look for creative and innovative solutions
  • Flexible and open minded, ready to navigate and connect with others in an area of unknowns
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • An inquisitive personality, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English, German would also be an advantage
