Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is supporting a leading name within the Removals industry in their search for a Removals Operations Controller.

The  Removals Operations Controller will have a hands-on role and will be responsible for the overseeing day to day Removal operations, staff management and development, ensuring guest satisfaction and ongoing inspection and maintenance of the company’s portfolio.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Assess each job specifics from survey, allocate manpower & vehicles as required.
  • Overseeing Removals diary operations on daily basis.
  • Monitoring crew arrival times, progress, problem solving.
  • Provide job costings to Move Managers.
  • Arrange ‘Third party’ services on UK Removals operations.
  • Arrange parking Suspensions or Dispensations.
  • Obtain comparison quotes from UK Removals partners on operations.
  • Arrange external Labour allocation as required.
  • Book Removals shipments In and Out of store.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Removals Operations supervisor within the moving services sector.
  • Strong man management skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Solid IT skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
