Senior Immigration Consultant

Job Description

A globally-renowned expatriate management specialist is looking to hire a Senior Immigration Consultant to join their team in Perth.

This position offers a flexible hybrid working structure.

The Senior Immigration Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for corporate clients requiring Australian immigration services
  • Manage end-to-end corporate immigration supporting clients, assignees, and their families with various visas and passes (Employment Visas, Dependant Visas etc.)
  • Ensuring immigration compliance with law and legislation
  • Delivering ongoing visa and immigration advisory to clients and assignees
  • Managing immigration client caseload and accurately maintaining records as required
  • Staying up to date on changes and revisions to local immigration legislation and communicating these changes internally and to clients
  • Support the visa application process by gathering documents, reviewing documents, and preparing the necessary paperwork and application forms
  • Delivering a solution-based approach to all aspects of client immigration services
  • Contribute to the review, enhancement, and maintenance of best practises processes, templates, and procedures
  • Provide ongoing client account management support
  • Liaising with authorities as necessary to finalise the application, communicating the final decision, and updating the tracking system with the required information
  • Fully managing the immigration lifecycle for Singapore immigration cases
  • Providing reports for the Immigration Manager and Director

Desired experience:

  • 3 years + experience in Australian immigration
  • Proven experience handling various visa/pass application types relating to Australian immigration
  • Experience in business immigration and dealing with corporate clients
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster professional relationships
  • Problem-solving and solutions-based approach
  • Strong independent research ability
  • Excellent IT skills with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
