Job Description

Our client, a London based art organisation are looking for a Registrar to join their growing team!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with all art logistical projects, ensuring that shipments are carried out in a timely manner, liaising with providers, couriers, and contractors
  • Be able to lead on logistical projects from start to finish when required
  • Inventory control and classification, as well as artwork photography and picture enhancement
  • Liaise with the sales material team on incoming artworks
  • Assist with due diligence on all incoming artworks, including condition, inspection, and reporting
  • Prepare all documentations of incoming artworks and shipments
  • ArtLogic, DropBox, and Excel are used to keep track of current artwork records
  • Update spreadsheets relating to shipment
  • Assisting with the proper insurance for artwork

Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience within an art logistics role is required
  • Experience liaising with high-net worth individuals is beneficial
  • Understanding of specific shipping documentation and customs processes
  • Excellent communication skills/ability to work independently
  • Ability to lead projects and deliver results
  • Maintain supplier relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Great attention to detail
